TORONTO – April 24, 2025 — To fuel its next stage of growth, Maropost has selected a 20-year veteran SaaS strategist to lead its finance team. As the unified commerce platform’s new Chief Financial Officer, Steven Horniak won’t just collaborate on Maropost’s ambitious plans for expansion, he’ll help make them possible.

Horniak’s experience scaling businesses from startups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises makes him a perfect fit for the role. He’s driven growth, bolstered operational performance, and led finance teams at high-growth companies that include Clearer.io, Doxim, Changepoint and Infor. Steven has also led and supported more than 20 successful M&A transactions, driving value through strategic acquisitions and post-merger integration.

“Steven’s financial leadership and strategic mindset are precisely the advantage we need ahead of our next leap forward,” said Ross Andrew Paquette, CEO and Founder of Maropost. “His expertise will enable us to deliver the promise of our unified platform to customers—simplified operations and standout customer experiences.

A University of Toronto Commerce graduate with CPA, CA credentials, Horniak has earned a reputation for building high-performance teams through his collaborative leadership style and data-driven decision-making.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the Maropost team, especially at this critical inflection point,” said Horniak. “By centralizing systems into a single seamless solution, Maropost’s unified commerce platform is set to transform the ways fast-growing brands operate. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and build on that momentum.”
